HONEYLICIOUS FORTUNE RICE CAKE
Try this easy Honeylicious Rice Cake recipe!
Method
- Place uncooked Fortune Emo Pa Rice in a fine mesh strainer, rinse, pour into a bowl and add enough water to cover it, soak for at least 2 hours (can do overnight)
- Drain the rice, and pour soaked rice, milk, and sugar into a blender. Blend on high speed for 2 minutes until the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the mixture into silicone moulds or paper cupcake cups. Fill each cup about 80% full. (Should be able to fill about 10 cups)
- Place the filled cupcake cups on a steamer, and steam over medium heat for about 30 minutes.
- Insert a toothpick into the centre of a milk rice cake. If the toothpick comes out with a wet batter, steam the rice cakes for 5 more minutes or until the toothpick comes out dry.
- Remove the cupcake cups from the steamer. Allow the steamed milk rice cake to cook for 5 minutes before removing it from the cupcake cups.
- Place the steamed milk rice cake on a serving plate, and drizzle it with honey or condensed milk. Optionally decorate with dried fruits of choice.

- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 cup of raisins or any dried fruit or nut of choice
- 1 tablespoon of honey or condensed milk
